Hello, this is Eric from Qianyue Caster. I will introduce the difference between an anti-static caster and a conductive caster. Firstly, I want to introduce a physical conception, Resistivity. What does Resistivity mean? Resistivity is a physical quantity used to express the resistance characteristics of various substances. The resistance of a conductor made of a material 1 meter long and 1 square meter cross-sectional area is numerically equal to the Resistivity of that material. So we know that the Resistivity depends on the material, temperature, pressure, and magnetic field. Ok, back to the anti-static caster and conductive caster. You can see there is no difference between them. They look the same; however, why the normal medical caster wheel is much cheaper than the anti-static and conductive caster? Because their material is different. Conductive caster, its material is best, its conductivity is best because its Resistivity is smallest, it is about 3-6 square. And the anti-static caster is second. Its Resistivity is about twice of the conductive caster. And the normal caster is the worst, so it has minimal requirements for materials. The more advanced and precise instrument, the higher the requirements for the conductivity of the caster wheels.
